Accessibility Statement (WCAG 2.1 AA target) Title: Accessibility at STLW Last updated: February 5, 2026 Our commitment We want everyone to navigate, shop, and learn here comfortably. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA (and track 2.2 AA where practical). What we’re doing High-contrast toggle on courtyard doors; keyboard focusable controls. Keyboard navigation and visible focus on interactive elements (doors, size selectors, cart actions). Text-to-speech option on product pages for descriptions. Measurement and size selection with clear labels, errors, and announcements for screen readers. Reduced-motion support: respects prefers-reduced-motion to skip animations. Alt text on product imagery; decorative images marked appropriately. Landmark structure (main/nav/footer) and heading hierarchy on content pages. Live-region announcements for key actions (add to cart, selection changes). Current status Partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA: most requirements are met; some areas are still under review and continuous improvement. Known work-in-progress Periodic audits for color contrast on new content. Ongoing checks on third-party widgets (e.g., Trustpilot) for screen-reader labeling. Occasional legacy pages may need heading/label cleanup; we are updating them. Compatibility Works on modern browsers with CSS/JS enabled. Supports assistive technologies (screen readers, high-contrast modes, keyboard-only use). Animations scale back when the OS/browser requests reduced motion. Feedback and help If you encounter a barrier or need an alternative format, please contact us via the Contact page (../Contact/Contact STLW.htm) or by email at your preferred address. We’ll respond and aim to resolve issues promptly. Reporting an issue Please share the page URL, what you tried to do, your browser/OS, and any assistive tech used (e.g., NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver). This helps us fix it faster. Continuous improvement We review new features against WCAG 2.1 AA and monitor user feedback to prioritize fixes.
